We’re not just focused on what’s inside our products – we also care deeply about the packaging on the outside.
We’re focused on reducing our impact on the planet, without risking the quality of the product on the inside.

UNITY founder, Mat has spent the last decade working closely within the sustainability sector with the ambition of creating awareness and helping to provide a solution around the problem of climate change and the devastating effect it is having on our oceans, land and global society.

According to the World Economic Forum, if plastic production isn’t curbed, plastic pollution will outweigh fish pound for pound by 2050. What’s happened is already lost, but if we all work together to choose more sustainable alternatives we can make a difference on what’s to come for our planet.

To do our bit to limit plastic production, our containers are made from sugarcane, a renewable and recyclable bioplastic, grown on sustainably farmed land. Sugarcane plants help reduce CO2 emissions, whereas normal plastic made using fossil fuel increases CO2 emissions. Caps and lids can’t be made with 100% sugarcane, yet. As soon as there’s a suitable bioplastic alternative, you can be sure we’ll be using it.

We promise that we will always continue to improve what’s both inside and on the outside of our products whenever we can. We’re on a journey; we’re not at the destination, and we hope you’ll join us…
